I can't see my friend's room

Make sure both phones are on the same WiFi or connected to the same hotspot. iOS turns off hotspot if nothing connects within ~90 s — toggle it on right before the other phone connects.

The app asks for local network access

Required to discover matches on your WiFi/hotspot. No data leaves your network.

Change the language

Open Settings from the home screen. You can switch between Spanish and English at any time.

No sound

Check that media volume is not muted. There is a sound toggle in Settings.

Is there a backend, accounts or cloud?

No. Everything is local. Your name and preferences live on your device.
